Paramount+ announced Tuesday that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been picked up for Season 2. The news arrives nearly four months before the sci-fi drama airs its first episode, which is scheduled for May 5.
A spin-off of 'Star Trek: Discovery', the series is set a decade before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, and will follow Captain Christopher Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One exploring new worlds around the galaxy aboard the famed starship.

Meaning.. we've got 18 episodes.. let's just split that into 2 seasons. i.e it's not REALLY a "renewal" it just a different plan on how they will air the episodes they've purchased. Once doesn't "renew" what hasn't aired otherwise.

Personally I'm really excited about seeing Season 1 - knowing there will be another season ahead of time, just means I can relax knowing it's not going to abruptly end.
Pike in Discovery was great and I can't wait to see what they do with him and the Enterprise crew.

They jump from thread to thread with their Spore Drive. How do these fungi communicate to each other? They share nutrients through their filaments. The two or three spores here go by a hundreds of names and no-names. They even vote with or without the Voting Rights Act. What a scam that is. No ID needed, spores can vote.

We have a tiny woke crew here that posts under constantly changing names like SammieTheOgreSlayer, Facts, Truth, Pat, Dan and on and on. These spineless amoebas are bad bacteria but that's all they are. They probably came from mice in a Chinese lab except these are rather harmless.
