Paramount+ announced Tuesday that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has been picked up for Season 2. The news arrives nearly four months before the sci-fi drama airs its first episode, which is scheduled for May 5.
A spin-off of 'Star Trek: Discovery', the series is set a decade before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, and will follow Captain Christopher Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One exploring new worlds around the galaxy aboard the famed starship.

I would watch Star Trek if it was on CBS which is what I pay for. Anson Mount always plays a great character. And this Trek isn't even animated.
