The animated comedy heads towards 400 episodes.
May 16, 2022
Fox announced today that Family Guy has been renewed for a 21st season. The pickup comes ahead of this Sunday's season finale.
Created by Seth MacFarlane, the animated series debuted in 1999 with little fanfare at the time. The show initially struggled to find a consistent audience, moving from one time slot to another, and was actually cancelled after Season 3. When DVD sales and syndication ratings exceeded expectations Fox revived the series, and it has gone on to become one of its longest-running originals.
Family Guy has become a fixture in pop culture, winning numerous awards and amassing a legion of loyal fans. Season 21 will see the show surpass the 400-episode milestone - an impressive feat in today's television landscape.
Look for Season 21 this fall as part of the 2022-2023 season.

Glad Family guy is back! For the people that is saying to cancel Bob's burger is stupid. Bob's burger is one of the most funniest cartoon on Fox! The cartoon that should be cancelled is the Great North. That's show is boring.
