It was announced today that Blood & Treasure will finally be coming back for its second season. Three years after its premiere, we now know that the drama will making its return this summer, and will be moving from CBS to streamer Paramount+.

The adventure drama premiered back in 2019, performing well enough that it was quickly picked up for Season 2 after just seven episodes. Unfortunately for fans, there was no word on when it would return until today. But after an extended wait, the show will premiere new episodes beginning on July 17.

Blood & Treasure follows a brilliant antiquities expert who teams up with a cunning art thief in order to catch a ruthless terrorist who uses stolen treasure to fund his attacks. As the duo traverses the globe in search of their target, they unwittingly find themselves entrenched in a centuries-old battle for the cradle of civilization.
