No Season 4 for the spinoff series.
April 26, 2024
Word is out that CBS has cancelled NCIS: Hawai'i after three seasons. The news comes with just two episodes remaining in the drama's now-final run. At 10 episodes, this season was its shortest to date due to last year's writers strike. Co-creator Christopher Silber took to X with a statement expressing gratitude to the cast, writers, and crew.
Before today, the show remained the only scripted series at the network whose fate for the next season was undecided. At 54 total episodes, NCIS: Hawai'i is set to have the briefest duration of any series within the naval franchise so far.
The third spinoff in the NCIS universe, the show follows the first female in charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and her skilled team of mainland transplants and knowledgeable locals. Together they focus on investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security, and the mysteries of the island itself.

This was preordained once "Magnum PI" was cancelled. The overhead of producing a series on Hawai'i doesn't work unless it can be spread across two or more shows.

CBS you cancelled SWAT then renewed it. Now it’s time to cancel this cancellation and renew this.

Disappointed. They cast were just starting to really find into their rooting. I acknowledge there was a stretch where the show was struggling a bit, but they were really starting to roll. Too bad. I guess the network is gonna replace this with the "Young Gibbs" and the "Tony & Ziva" spin-offs, which I bet will both get these new, shorter 13-or-so episode seasons.

This is Another messed up move from the network to get rid of a show that people are invested in. It's not anyone one person's fault that there was a strike. To get rid of shows that people have watched from day ones.Only for the new show to then not work out. Networks wonder why they have been losing viewers? Seriously

I'm disappointed but not surprised. Vanessa Lachey was great. I liked Ernest. But the lesser characters were poorly casted. The FBI agent started strong and became ineffectual and annoying. I'm just hoping CBS has some new scripted shows for us.

Just ANOTHER typical CBS bullshit move!! I have a prediction that at least 2 of the replacement shows won't make it past their first year!!! HA HA to CompleteBullShit..

Ok, so I get more free time as the new so-called 'reality shows' suck ad that's all the brain dead seem to want to watch now. I suppose it gives them something to aspire to, free money for doing virtually nothing, as opposed to actually working hard and enjoying a non-reality tv show to relax.
