A comedy following on two brainy male professionals who live across the hall from an attractive waitress.
Sheldon and Leonard are physicists who also live together as roommates. When they meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door who has showbiz aspirations, they realize they have a lot to learn about life outside the lab.

Can't wait for this show to be cancelled. The humor if you can call it that is so horribly bad and that laugh track is incredibly annoying i cant fathom how anybody can watch more then 5 minutes of that show. People say it's "intelligent" or "nerdy" humor? There's nothing intelligent or nerdy about these lame jokes. I really think everybody is delusional and brainwashed by this laugh track that plays forever after the completion of every sentence. The day this show is canceled will be a good day. The day tbs stops playing this show hour after hour will be an even better day.

It helps the stupid people feel smart, so for that I can see it's purpose. But this show wouldn't survive without a laugh track. It's not witty enough for me to find humor in it. The pauses for the laugh track are too large for the jokes told. We are led to believe that it is funnier than it actually is. It will be cancelled around the time they can stop making the 40 year old actor that plays Sheldon look like he is in his late 20s.

Best show on television! There is not one lame thing about it! It appeals to all different ages and genders and its brilliant when writers can pull that off.

I have a highly developed sense of humor & I LOVE this show. Funniest thing on TV. Certainly better than all the reality crap that is all over the airwaves these days which I find extremely tedious & boring. So for all you posters that don't like this show -- don't watch it and leave it for us people who enjoy intelligent comedies.

Well I think this show is just lame. They are trying to make a new show like "Friends" and that will not happen. Worst comedy on TV. The only thing that is considered is the way the characters interact. Aside from that I think that this show should be cancelled. The one liners are dumb and I think the only station that this show an possibly get popular on is Telemundo. If you feel the same way I do please post something and help stop the retardation and perversion of of this network.

YES!! Amazing show, witty, funny, dramatic, and exciting. It has a bit of everything for everyone. The actors are very good.

I love this show; it's the funniest thing on TV. Just please don't let it slide into the gutter like two and a half men did, and become all about sex and bathroom humor. The intelligent humor is what makes this show great.
