I have been an avid fantasy fan, since I was a little kid in the 50's, when my mom would read to me from her Brother's Grimm and Oz books. Then in the 70's and 80's when I worked in the libraries for 12 years, I read hundreds of fantasy books. A movie or fantasy series has to be exceptional for me to love it. Except for Willow, Lord of the Rings and Legend, I have never seen a fantasy as great as Game of Thrones. I love it so much I think about it a lot in between the season. I am in fantasy ecstasy with this show.

Probably the best definition of all that TV can be. As for discussion of SCREEN v. BOOK...
LAW #1 The book is always better than the movie, except in porn.
LAW #2 Books are written by original authors, screenplays by teams of interpretive writers - they will rarely be the same.
LAW #3 SCREEN seldom follows true to BOOK - e.g., Under The Dome, Walking Dead, et. al.
Why worry just enjoy the ride

Best show, Can't compare other shows with it, solid writing, solid work :) I hope the make all the books.
@Andy : they film 3rd book in 2 season, Season 3 and 4, so they have long time to reach book 7 , don't worry :)

the producer says seven seasons but the Author has to finish books six and Seven Could their be a huitus coming to game of thrones Or will HBO create their own alternative ending?

I hope they move away from the books after book 3. If they don't all we will see is Daenerys saying, " I am only a young girl and know little of such thing!?!?!" She will say it a minimum of 5 times per episode

One of the best shows going. The show keeps you on your toes and doesn't have a problem with killing off characters. I like that the fact that the show follows the book(s) very well. Keep it coming!!!!

Was just introduced to it by the hubby, not a bad show (don't love it like he does). Too many characters but really pay attention or you get lost. Willing to give it my attention.
