A crime drama following a neuroscientist who assists with FBI cases.
Dr. Daniel Pierce is an eccentric, yet talented, neuroscientist. So talented, in fact, that he is enlisted by the FBI to help solve some of their most complex cases. There, Dr. Pierce works on a team including one of his former students who has joined the bureau, as well as his teaching assistant and best friend.

At first I didn't like this show, but it sort of grew on you after awhile. Especially when you started to figure out some of the people he was talking to weren't even there. I hope they keep it around at least one more season because I think it could get better..I don't know about that 12year old FBI agent. She doesn't seem real. McCormick is great in this though.

It seems everytime there is a great show on i love , the networks seem to cancle it . I hope PERCEPTION stay on the air for many seasons . I love the show ....

Just when the epidemics of unoriginality and recycled material couldn't get any worse, this show takes the problems to a new level. It's "Numbers," "Castle," "The Closer," and a little bit of "House" (due to the schizophrenia) all in one with nothing original about it. The plots boil down to the same conflicts and materials that haven't changed in the nerd meets police force dramas in the past 10-15 years. I had high hopes for this show but couldn't bear watching more than a couple episodes.

This is one of the best new shows. The story lines are interesting and the characters outstanding.

Love Eric McCormack in this role! He's gorgeous, quirky and charming and I love watching this show every week. I agree with the above poster--Awake was great but you really have to pay attention to the complexities of the show which can be exhausting. The writing of Perception is brilliant!

Yes it is one of the "best" new shows. It reminds me of the way I felt about 2 other shows at first; Sanctuary and Once Upon A Time, give it a chance, it will take off!
