My whole family loves this show. From the great acting to the fantastic plot twists. It has something for everyone especially us sci-fi nuts :) Please, PLEASE renew this show!!

I agree with much of your comment except the aliens part.
I'm of the opinion that E.T.s are likely hostile. You know the saying about power corrupts.
Highly civilized and technologically advanced super races tend to expand and conquer. Look at our human history and all the past mighty empires. Slaughter and mayhem.
Aliens will be the cowboys and we, the Indians.

People complaining about Actors who because they get married and divorced more than once has nothing to do with there job. Get over it people. Who cares how many times she was married, that doesn't mean anything. The story line is awesome. To say if this ever happened to you that you would say get rid of it. Unless it actually happened to you, there is no way you can say that. To think aliens would be like the movie aliens is absurd. To think intelligent life that is smart enough to go thru galaxies would come here to pop out someone's belly and kill everyone is crazy. If they can get here than they are smarter than we are. This is probably why are government keeps secrets because of stupid people. This story line is really cool with androids. To think we will not have intelligent robots in the future I mean we already have them. It would be terrible for this show to end already. This show is cutting edge on where technology is headed. To say it needs to be faster pace it already is. It actually could slow down so we can really get into the characters. To Not be into all the cool gadgets and technology they show just goes to show that most of our population has pee brains for size. This is some cool stuff and stupid people ruin things. Go back to your stupid reality shows that are scripted that is all your tiny brains can handle. I never write comments especially nasty things but all you haters need to know how dumb you really are.

More plot twists. More clues revealed about the alien mystery and the government conspiracy.
I'm intrigued by the possibilities but I agree with others that they better not drag it out too long. Many past shows (e.g. Invasion, Flash Forward) have crashed because of slow dramatic payoff for viewers.

Was Extant cancelled? I realize it's bad, but a strategic move to change it's viewing time was supposed to cure the low ratings problem. MeTV has the right idea to resurrect classic television sitcoms and dramas that resonate with my generation. These new shows suspend reality (and hoist social issues in the place of reality) to try and cover-up bad acting, bad scripting, vulgarity and sexual content/innuendo that today is supposed to be entertaining to 'certain' demographics. I'm sorry I'm not in that demographic. If this show is cancelled, you can't blame it on our generation.

Why is it the really good show get cancelled?! I was just getting to enjoy extant, and now it's gone. Who is finalizing these endings? Maybe they need to poll the true fans as to what should stay and what should go! I would love if they would ask my option! I hope you change your mind, please

Really? Do the people who made/wrote this really expect us to continue to watch? I gave it 2 episodes, trying to give it a chance, but thats it. I mean really? Lets look at this. An astronaut on an 11 month solo mission comes back home and finds out shes somehow pregnant, has some sort of brain trauma and is seeing a dead person but doesn't want to let anyone know and convinces her government doctor to do the same. REALLY? I kinda think any woman, I don't care what kind of training you've had, would freak the F out, and get as many people on the job of getting this freaking alien baby out of me before it bursts through chest, fix whatever the hell is wrong with my brain before I become a carrot! OMG! CBS, do you actually pay people for this? If so I could use a job.
