I loved Diana Gabaldon's book this series is based on. I read this 850 page book in 5 days. She has a whole series of books based on these characters. There had been rumors for years of it being made into a television series (funny i had thought of the same thing or her books being made into movies) when i heard starz decided to do it I was so excited the wait for the show to start was torture. SO FAR THIS SHOW HAS BEEN EXCEPTIONAL, IM NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED. the 2nd book in the series is dragonfly in amber, I wont tell anyone here what it is about because it would be a huge spoiler for those watching the show that have not read the books. <spoiler text deleted>
