A reality series following the life of a woman suffering from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Whitney Thore is an average girl from a small town in North Carolina. She was once a slender dancer but during college unexpectedly gained 200 pounds over the course of a single year due to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
It took Whitney quite some time to deal with the life-changing effects of her condition, but now she is content with her body and has a fresh outlook on life.
Currently living with her parents, Whitney is getting prepared to venture out on her own and claim her independence in a world that judges people by their size.

I love this show. Whitley has great friends and family. What a wonderful support system. Please please continue this show for another season. I miss all of them. When I watch them I see my own family with our love for each other, our friends, and our pets who are also our family

I love Whitney, she is a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. I hope the show comes back on, it's one of my favorite things to watch.

I would hope the show continues, especially at a time when this country needs to start to learn tolerance for all people that are not perfect. Whitney struggles with the same issues other women do and this allows people to see they are not alone with their problems. This is an excellent opportunity for the network to spread the word of more acceptance of those that are different and less exceptance for hate. We need reality shows with real people, not famous people. The majority of viewers are those that can’t relate to people with fame and fortune. Just my thoughts... but would love to see this show continue and possibly end with great results for all of the cast.

I hope the show continues...I started watching last year and liked it so much I went back to catch the other seasons. I love Whitney and I can so relate to her weight problem. Same thing happened to me when I was 19 years old. Gained 100 pounds in 6 months..went to so many doctors and hospitals who put me on crazy diets and exercise. Nothing worked....then one day I started losing weight and had no clue why. Long story short went from 265 to 103 pounds. I am old now....and have remained thin for the past 30 plus years. Sometimes too thin but never heavy again. I know the shame I received...even my family was not at all supportive. I guess that’s why I love her show, her friends and her family. If I lived in her area I would try to be friends with her...she looks like a lot of fun. I can’t dance but would love to try.... I share her love of animals and how she loves her friends. I am now in a situation where my husband is terminal...I will be starting over in life alone with my three dachshunds.I would love to meet her and her parents one day.....great family and I hope she can continue with her show. Life should not be about what we look like....but I know first hand how cruel people can be!

What do you mean by taking her show off the air, I have been waiting for the show to come back on, I love the show. If some one has something bad to say about the show just don't watch it, there are other shows to watch.

Please don't take my big fat fabulous life off the air. I love her show and everyone on it. Whitney keeps me inspired. That big girls can do almost anything they set their minds too. I also want to see Buddy get back with his girlfriend. I think those two belong together. Also I love Babs she's a trip. R.I.P Mr. Piggy
