A dramatic comedy based on the film series of the same name.
Iconic cop duo Riggs and Murtaugh from the Lethal Weapon franchise of films comes to the small screen in this reboot that combines action, drama, and humor.
Martin Riggs is an ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective who moves to California for a fresh start with the LAPD. He's partnered with Roger Murtaugh, who is just back to work after a near-fatal heart attack.
Riggs is known to run right into the line of fire, but his style clashes with Murtaugh's more by-the-book technique. Murtaugh, though, starts to take to Riggs' style as it starts to breathe new life into his daily grind.

This show is just okay. I fear it will go the same way Rush Hour did. Why? You just can't replace Danny Glover and Mel Gibson!

Actually, for what it was, Rush Hour was great, who-especially having watched the films-expected a serious series?
Detection, and intrigue, skilled police work?
I expected humour and action, and lo....we got it, if anything, Lee needed to be more in line with Chans great skill, but otherwise it was simple entertainment.
LW will be likewise, no great thing like perhaps CSI or NCIS nor even out and out comedy, but just a entertainment for people, why can't people just enjoy a bit of fun.

I thought it was funny and entertaining. This show doesn't make you think like a lot of the other shows on tv today with complex plots; you can just sit back and be entertained. I really hope this show makes it!

No chance on earth this will get a complete Season. The idea of show is just as bad as the one they had for Rush Hour and we all know how bad that show was.

SO....what's the over/under on the number of episodes this will last before canceling this dumpster fire?? TV shows based on movies don't tend to do too well anymore in case they didn't notice! They got away with it back in the 70s (MASH) and 80s (and some 90s) but not any longer, due to how people watch TV now. My guess is 3 episodes!
