Fallon Carrington is a charismatic, yet cunning, young woman with aspirations of becoming the COO of her father, Blake Carrington's, global energy empire. But when her and her brother are called to her father's home in Atlanta, Fallon is shocked that the reunion is not to announce her promotion. Instead, the siblings are introduced to their young stepmother-to-be. Not wanting an outsider intruding on her family's dynasty, Fallon would rather draw blood than call this new woman "Mom".

Watching the final segment of this wonderful drama and fantastic cast left me with tearful moments throughout. I enjoyed every moment, so I saved the show to rewatch before I say goodbye. Thank you all for such a moving drama.

I'm only on season 1, but I do not like the poor Alexis story, in the old show Joan Collins was a more classic beauty, I guess she gets together with the Colby's later on, but at the moment not a good show. Hoping for a better progress in the show later on...

Even though I was old enough, I never watched the original Dynasty. I was excited to see a reboot of the show because there aren't many soapy evening shows anymore. I loved 90210, Melrose Place, etc. I really like this new Dynasty but just saw that it moved to Friday. When that happens, the axe comes next...
