This show is actually pretty good. It takes the premise of the original series and puts the future/different spin on it. Cast and acting are both great. Its going to be a little different from "met your mother" but that's a good thing. Story evolution...

This show is actually pretty funny and is getting better by the episode. I also really liked how the guys got the apartment from Marshall and Liley. I hoping it continues to evolve with good character development.

Saw Ep1: it is not good and not funny and not witty. All that it is a diverse and inclusive group of people. Most are painful to watch when they try to act and cringe worthy. Some actors are typecast and play the same character on other shows.

I think it's hilarious how bored people are when they leave comments about a show that hasn't even aired yet. Oh no! Now I'm one of them!

In this day and age, it would have been a lot more interesting premise to have Barney end up married to a man and with a child. The series could explore his journey from a womanizing playboy to a realization of his gayness and his journey to find love and self-acceptance. All in a lighthearted, comedic manner, of course. But, they probably figured it's too close to Will and Grace, and they probably don't want to do anything risky that jeopardizes their HIMYM syndication revenue stream.
