I think it is time the kids age a little. Have them go to middle or high school.Making the kids teenages will add many plot lines. I mean 552 stories of a 2nd and 4th grader. Spin off Ned Flanders to to a religious themed show.

I'm actually glad it's still sticking around. It's pretty much the only show I will watch on sunday nights since I pretty much stopped watching the other cartoons that they show on Fox. Don't get me worng, I liked the other cartoons, but they don't really appeal to me as much anymore.

[In Mr. Burns' voice] Excellent. I still love the show. Some episodes are better than others, but the show still interests me after all these years. I still laugh a lot, but it usually takes a second viewing for me to get into the new episodes. I thought the Halloween episode was funny this season.

seriously let it go already. hasn't been funny since at least the late 90's. and even though Family Guy started out copying The Simpsons, as soon as they saw how much of a hit FG has become, The Simpsons started copying FG's humor. it's not even the same show anymore. I think Fox will keep it going as long as they can because they probably love being able to brag about having the longest running show on TV. what other reason to keep it around?

I'm guessing that unlike many of you, whom I feel are speaking from nothing other than assumption, I still watch this show every week and it is STILL awesome! I laugh every episode; it doesn't have to try as hard as some shows like Family Guy. It isn't vulgar and NASTY, it is just right, IMO.

This show needs to be cancelled just like snl. Way past their prime. Not funny. Sad to watch and just living on their name alone.

Ah, the Jerry Springer of the animated genre still LIVES?! Who's to say this isn't just some government conspiracy to keep the uneducated masses pacified and keeping dumbing them down more each week? (Anyone ever notice that standardized testing scores in schools were HIGHER nationwide BEFORE this show aired nationally and have plummeted consistently since this show went into syndication?)

I was a 10 year old 4th grader when this came out. Been a fan since Day 1. But it's time to step aside gracefully. It's over. Please let this show die with dignity. But they won't as long as the show still makes $$$$$ for the network, which it apparently still does. It is sad.
