ABC has renewed Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season. The freshman series will be airing its current season finale next Tuesday, capping a debut run that averaged decent, if unspectacular, ratings.
Set in the same universe as popular Marvel franchises, the action drama has been able to tie in some of its storylines to major motion picture releases such as the recent Captain America sequel.
Look for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to return in the fall.

I LOVE IT!! I am a girl and I still am like wow that's awesome but when is season 2 episode 12 coming out is it even coming out I hope it is.... and I reallllly hope that Sky and Wart get together its so cool

First I must say I'm impressed. This show keeps getting
better. I am thankful that ABC gave it a season two.
I hope Disney, who bought Marvel will permit a season three.
I hope Joss Wheldon and crew keep developing the show.(sorry if I misspelled his name, no disrespect intended).
I encourage all fans to stand with S.H.I.E.L.D.

So happy that the show is coming back on again. My husband and I do not miss a show. It seems like every show that is good and entertaining gets knock off. We were rally upset that they were thinking of not bringing this one back. So, Thank you for bringing it back. Love it.

I love watching the show with my nephew, it give us a show we both love. He was so upset when he thought he was going to miss the season finale. I am very happy to hear it will be back. Keep up the great work ABC we will keep watching, and on video on demand.

This show started off slow and wasn't at all what I expected. I almost gave up on it after 5 or 6 episodes but kept with it - glad that I did. I believe that the show has met my expectations, barely, but met. I hope that the show can carry it's own and build up into something worthy of both the comic fans and the average person.

So happy this show is renewed! Yay! Joss Whedon tv is back! It has it's spot in line with his other greats... Buffy, Angel, Firefly. Josh Whedon is MARVELous!

This show started of so slow, but I'm glad I stuck with it. There's really no other show like it, so it was something to look forward to. And now it's getting really good. There are so many Winter Soldier spoilers in it that I'm glad I saw the movie only a week after it was released.
