The Marvel drama will wrap its story in 2020.
July 18, 2019
It was announced today that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be coming to an end after its already-ordered seventh season. The timing of news, which comes midway through Season 6, gives showrunners plenty of time to craft a proper ending to the veteran drama.
Premiering back in 2013, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the longest-running series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At over 100 episodes, its lengthy run has been impressive by any standards. Like most shows of this age, its current ratings leave a lot to be desired, but its core audience still gives it decent numbers in its Friday night time slot, where it moved to in Season 5.
Look for the seventh and final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the summer of 2020.

The last good season was the one with Ghost Rider

I still enjoy the show but it isn't nearly as good as it was during like the first 3-4 seasons. Back then it was still at least loosely tied into the MCU. Since the S.H.I.E.L.D/Hydra story finished it's really been its own world that didn't seem to fit. And killing of Colson even though Clark Gregg was still on the show was just dumb. This current season has been pretty boring.
Also, this isn't really news. Season 7 was confirmed to be the last like back in November or December.

I have enjoyed Marvel's Agents of Daisy a lot. Getting to see the Coulson character for 6 years was probably my biggest enjoyment of the show, easily one of Stan Lee's best non-Superhero character's he created. I hope very much the character remains on the show until the end.

Cool show, glad it gets a ending season. This one is good , even if the sarge thing seems created just to keep our fave actor around , the character is so good that it works for me.

Will Be missed, but better to end whilst the shows still good then to have its legacy ruined by over staying its welcome.
One of my most beloved shows, fun to watch with great overall story telling. Might not be considered as "prestigious" television like other cable shows and marvels Netflix offerings, but i personally rank it above all of the Netflix shows overall as the best comic TV show to date.
Admittedly it might of started out slow for some peoples taste but that was to be expected for world building and its progressed on to become something marvelous. The Writers have there shit together and are able to play the long game and set up future plots and remember old plots. Only one or two loose ends from the previous seasons that need to be tied up and i have fate they will be able to do so by end of season 7 as they did in season 5 for the major loose ends given there uncertainty of a renewal.
Fingers crossed the final season lives up to these past few and this will easily be the best comic book tv show to date.
And seeing as how season 6 and 7 are shorter and most likely linked together with an overarching plot perhaps they should represent season 6 collectively, and we can get a well deserved movie for the tv team.

Let Coulson (aka son of Coul) live through the finale. I mean I get he is kinda "dead" right now but maybe 'not really'. Let him live please. Thanks.

Season 1-4 was an "A"; Season 5 was an "F" and this season is an uptick to a "C". It reminds me of Suits and Elementary. This is both their last season and last year's seasons were horrible.

Finally, the end is in sight. I really enjoyed the first season or two, but I've steadily lost interest (but still watch the series). I also thought there would be a better "bridge" to the movie part of the business, especially when Jaimie Alexander's character made an appearance all the way from Asgard. The tv characters have been top-notch and I hope & believe all the tv actors will do well in their future careers.
