The new superhero series will return for a second season.
January 11, 2015
The CW announced today that The Flash has been renewed for a second season in 2015-2016. The freshman action drama has been a huge breakout hit for the network, spinning off from Arrow last fall and drawing strong viewership and critical acclaim over the first half of its season.
Along with The Flash, The CW also announced renewals today for The Originals, Reign, The Vampire Diaries, The 100, Jane the Virgin, Arrow, and Supernatural.

Hurray! I watched the first couple of episodes because I like Cavanaugh and Martin, but I wasn't expecting much. Instead it sucked me in. The plotline has only gotten better as the season goes on. They are actually letting the characters grow instead of just keeping them static like most superhero shows.

Dispite the less than stellar acting and the slightly subpar dialogue, this show is fun to watch and I'm enjoying it as the story unfold. CW is delivering a likable product to its target demographic and even though I'm outside of it, I appreciate the effort.

I love it. They have pulled off exactly how the flash should look and the action is awesome. I'm not really a DC comic fan. But I am of this show and the character. I also enjoy the Arrow crossover episodes. CW has something to be proud of.

Don't understand the acclaim it has. Poor writing and acting compared to it's DC counterpart. The detective is probably the best actor of the bunch so far.

Sweet this is my favorite super hero series. Glad The CW is doing good with renewing good series.
