The CW announced today that The Flash has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore action drama was breakout hit for the network in 2014, building on the success of Arrow and finding its own dedicated audience which has kept it going strong in Season 2. Certain supporting characters from both shows have since been spun off to a third superhero series, Legends of Tomorrow, which was also renewed today.
Along with its entire superhero lineup, The CW also picked up all of its other series today for the 2016-2017 season, including The Originals, Reign, The Vampire Diaries, The 100, Jane the Virgin, iZombie, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Supernatural.

Yea! This is my favorite of the CW shows. Sure, it's not a classic superhero story but I still find the stories interesting.

the story has drifted towards being a constant love thing instead of more about a superhero catching super bad guys i dont care barry finds love, i dont care they have there moments of love at all, i wanna see the flash get badass and not turning into a little girl....

got bored with it in season 2... too much drama, not enough action for my taste. It's kind of turned into a run-of-the-mill cop show and the"twist" is that Barry can run fast, as opposed to being reincarnated or have a photographic memory, or be Icabod Crane... etc. Just my opinion... season 1 was good.. season 2 just feels like ti's going through the motions. The whole Earth 2 premise may have worked in the comics.. it's terribly cliche on screen to me. I'm not expecting to tune in for a third season.
