This is above average show; especially considering what is availbe on regular tv. It is hard to record because of the football games. If it was on a night that had less instability, I feel that it would be doing better with the ratings. I like a show that requires some thinking while remaining entertaining.

It feels ooh so good when problems get solved. Generally the show is okay. Two complaints:
-That side plot involving her husband's Russian spy boy was incredibly boring! I fast forwarded all his scenes and didn't miss a thing. Hope they don't dream up similar storylines to keep Tim Daly happy.
-Notice in most group staff meetings, only the regular actors speak? The other people are mute zombies. This happens on other shows too. Must be union rules.

why did you cancelled Madam Secretary on Dec.20,15.? Why
you advertise it and then cancel it?
This is the only intelligent program on TV that we
enjoy watching. It is outstanding and we plan our Sundays around it. If we could we would eliminate
CBS from our channel lineups.

I like your show..plan my evening around the show and are very disturbed that it seams to be bumpt by other shows...CBS does this show a disservice. Do you think that a show that betrays a woman as a stronger person is not right, then start thinking about your Mom! Awake up! jJohn Rorabaugh @ ****** .***

Program was somewhat ok until the final episode of season one. The writers must have had a lapse of memory. The point from which the so called assassin fired his rocket would have never been left unprotected in real life. Come on guys, if you want realism at least stick to the facts and how our President and High officials are really protected. Our Secret service is not that inept.

I have been a big fan of madam secretary. I have loved tea leoni since her sitcom days and she is perfect in this Role. However, after tonight's episode idk if I will watch anymore. Leaving the men in Kabul after they helped our country, and our country made so many promises to them reminded me too much of what our country did in "Desert storm" that killed so many Kuwaitte people. I know it's TV-but it's indicative of, unfortunately, our.country's principles.....selfish.
