The dance competition will continue this summer.

Fox announced today that So You Think You Can Dance has been picked up for a 16th season. The veteran dance competition is kicking off auditions next month for contestants aged 18-30, continuing to stick with its traditional adult age range - a trend that was bucked in 2016 when the show tested out child dancers for one season.
The Emmy Award-winning series has maintained its status as a reliable summer performer for the network. While ratings in recent years are not what they were in the show's prime, various format changes have kept audiences tuning in for over a decade.
Look for Season 16 of So You Think You Can Dance to premiere this summer with a new group of performers ready to show off their skills in a wide variety of dance styles.
