The CW announced today that Riverdale has been renewed for a fourth season. The drama is currently in the back half of Season 3, with new episodes airing Wednesday nights.
Featuring re-imagined characters from Archie Comics, the noir-style drama follows Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead in their high school years as they deal not only with issues in each of their personal lives, but also with the aftermath of multiple murders in their small town.
Riverdale continues to be a strong performer for the network in Season 3. Ratings have stayed close to its sophomore run levels, which actually increased compared with its first season.
3 years ago, this show only existed as a script and this image. Now, there’s a superstar group of actors playing these iconic roles. And a spectacular crew that brings our small, murderous town to life. Thrilled 2 be able to continue telling stories for Season 4 (!of #Riverdale. pic.twitter.com/5xMQVwoti1

Is there a show that the CW DOESN'T renew? Geez. How long can you drag out a show like "Legends," or "Arrow?" The Arrow was good for MAYBE 5 seasons. It's WELL past it's prime now. Same with Flash, Legends, etc., The ONLY show still well worth it's renewal weight in gold, is Supernatural.
