The CW announced today that Riverdale has been picked up for a sixth season. The drama is currently two episodes into Season 5, which premiered later than usual due to the ongoing global pandemic.
Featuring re-imagined characters from Archie Comics, the noir-style drama follows Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead in their high school years as they deal not only with issues in each of their personal lives, but also with the aftermath of multiple murders in their small town. Tonight's episode will see the gang leave high school behind, with a significant time jump coming next week.
Look for Season 6 of Riverdale in the fall as part of the 2021-2022 season, when it will hit the 100-episode milestone.

Why are they turning this into a musical. I never cared for Glee or any of the musical shows, please stop! This show already throws you everywhere else, enough with the singing!!!
