The Roseanne spin-off will return for Season 2.

ABC announced today that The Conners will be returning for a second season. The good news, which comes just one day after reports of the comedy's primary stars inking new deals to return, was posted on the show's official Twitter account confirming the pickup.
The renewal was expected, as the show has been a solid performer for the network. Its 11-episode freshman run averaged just under 10 million total viewers and performed well enough in the adults 18-49 demographic to rank it as last season's top new comedy and ABC's #1 overall comedy.
A spin-off of Roseanne, which had its time on the air cut short due to controversy surrounding its star, The Conners continues to follow the lives of the titular family, albeit without its matriarch. The story picks up after a sudden turn of events alters their landscape forever. Forced to continue living their daily working-class lives in Lanford in a completely new way, Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, and D.J. tackle everything from parenthood and financial pressure to dating and unexpected pregnancy.
Look for Season 2 of The Conners this fall.

Not everything thats not left wing is automatically hate. Get over yourself.
As for Roseanne, left wing people have said far worse and are celebrated and still keep their shows or jobs. She apologized, that shouldve been the end of it. The network was just LOOKING for a reason, any small reason to fire Roseanne. The whole network should go bankrupt for making horrible business decisions as to cancel shows that blew up in ratings like Roseanne and Last Man Standing.

This show is TERRIBLE...it's just terrible. Once Roseanne left I watched for several episodes and could not do it - it's not Roseanne or even the 'Connor's' without Roseanne. Sucks.

What ABC show does this "gang rapper" have? They say that stuff and they don't get an ABC show, Roseanne says that stuff and does not have an ABC show. They are both getting the same treatment. The same reason there is no right wing show (Last Man Standing) on ABC. ABC tries not put hate on the air.

The only reason ithis aweful show is renewed is bc they r desperate to say Roseanne wasn’t the whole show. Meanwhile other good shows are not given a fair chance.

Rossanne says dumb crap which I dislike , but surely if the gang rap crappers do not get what is coming to them , why should she? They preach homophobia , racism, misogyny , kid rape and more. But I agree this show is not bad at all and roassane knew she should back off as she does not rap , where her comments would be ok. Her bad.

I really tried watching this show, but I didn't find it funny at all. To tell you the truth I really didn't find the reboot of Roseanne either. It could be that I'm not in the 18-39 Demographic they are talking about. I actually only watch like 2-3 shows on this network.

For those complaining about the “cross dressing kid” and other abortion, you do realize Roseanne was the one that came up with these ideas, they were all in the first season.
