The comedy will return for Season 2.

CBS announced today that Bob Hearts Abishola has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes less than a month after the show ended its freshman run, which performed well for the network as its top new comedy of the season.
The half-hour series is the latest offering from creator Chuck Lorre. It follows a middle-aged man from Detroit who, after a heart attack lands him in the hospital, unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse, who is a Nigerian immigrant.

This show is another home run by Chuck Lorre. The characters are not one-dimensional, they are complex individuals (well, except for Bob's siblings).

Bad elements (poor lazy writing, laugh track, multi cam, bad unrealistic sets, studio lighting, extra) of a bygone era. You had a hit with Big Bang because it started at the end of that era. Don't expect us to fall for that agian. Have a little faith in us. Try something new. We can handle it.

Horrible show. As cliche as it can be.

This really feels like a nice, genuine comedy show with sweet characters, funny jokes and far more than just the usual sitcom shtick

Ditto Darrell- The best new show. I adore this show. Oddly I do leave captions on which I would not normally do with a comedy, but when Auntie and Uncle get going, I don't want to miss anything.

I’m sorry, but I find this show unwatchable. To each their own I guess. It wasn’t my cup of tea.
