The celebrity competition will return for 2021-2022.
March 30, 2021
ABC announced today that Dancing with the Stars has been picked up for a landmark 30th season. The veteran competition series will return this fall with host Tyra Banks back for a second time, along with judges Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Len Goodman.
A former flagship on the network, the series has remained a reliable performer after 15 years on the air, still often managing to top other unscripted competition in its time slot. Its most recent season saw Banks step in to replace longtime host Tom Bergeron. Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe took home the Mirrorball trophy in November, along with her partner Artem Chigvintsev.
Look for Dancing with the Stars to return this fall as part of the 2021-2022 season.

I never watched until Tyra became host and I enjoyed it very much. Will continue to watch if they have interesting "stars" dancing.

So you stopped watching after 15 years because of... the host??
Sure I don't love that they replaced Tom, but it's not going to stop me from watching.

I’d watch this show since Season 1. That ended when they put Tyra Banks (“It’s all about me!”) in as host last year. Stopped watching and didn’t miss it - won’t watch this new season either. Too bad the ‘powers-that-be’ ruined a perfectly good show. Sad.

I've watched since Season 1 but am done. The last two seasons the Bachelorette has won. ABC owns that show, too. Then they dump Tom and Erin for Tyra who is, well, a bit much. No thanks. It had a good run for me but it ended with season 28 in my mind.

I like the Show but Last Season was all about Tyra. Every commercial every segment. we hardly knew who was on the Show because Tyra was everywhere.

Didn't watch last season at all when Tom Bergeron and Erin Andews were replaced after their wonderful years !! Do not like Tyra Banks !! She was a host on America's Got Talent and was replaced there !!

I'm ambivalent. My interest has waned off and on over the seasons. I don't care about the stars (most of whom I never heard of anyway) but I do care when you see them work hard with their pro partners and develop real ballroom dancing talent. Over the years there have been some amazing dances. It all depends on the casting.
