No Season 4 for the plane mystery drama.
June 14, 2021
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled Manifest after three seasons. The sad news comes just days after the mystery drama aired its now-final episode, which ended on a cliffhanger and, unfortunately for fans, left the show's main ongoing plotline unresolved.
The network's decision to end the series does not come as a complete surprise. Ratings have fallen off in the last couple of seasons, and it was on the bubble for renewal last year at this time as well. There had been hope for a possible Season 4, though, after the show shot to the top of the Netflix charts after its recent debut on the streaming service, but it appears its performance there did not do much to change any minds.
Shortly after the news broke, series creator Jeff Rake took to Twitter to express his disappointment that the show was axed halfway through his planned six-season arc. He thanked the fans, saying they deserve a proper ending, and also stated his intent to find a new home for the series.
Manifest follows the passengers and crew of Montego Air Flight 828, which recently landed safely after being reported missing five years ago. To those aboard, though, it was just a typical flight with a bit of turbulence. With the returned passengers and crew back home, they now face a new reality with a second chance. But a deeper mystery starts to unfold as some of the returned realize they could be meant for something greater.

Finally. Glad to see this show go. See ya! Should have been cancelled after the first episode. Im still pissed that I was duped into watching something that I thought was going to be a really good sci-fi show but instead got "God warrior, justice league." Keep this crap on TBN, not mainstream network TV.

Anyone really surprised? This was a really corny show that went nowhere.

Here we go again. Another series with a certain story arc that gets canceled without a final conclusion. Honestly why are networks even bothering with these types of shows

It's a tv show folks. It aint real. It is designed to keep people tuned in for the sole purpose of making $. Stinking "Lost" strung us along for 6 years with nonsense upon nonsense with a crapola ending. It's all about the $ and always will be. As long as the libs love Thick Dick Wolf and his fabricated "social justice" agenda that is what we all will get.

Yeah the show was a little slow sometimes but that season 3 finale cliffhanger was REDEMTION if not for the jerks at NBC cancelling the show.
OK NETFLIX OR AMAZON TIME TO STEP UP AND AT LEAST GIVE US AN ENDING TO THIS STORY!

Well, yet another example of why Network TV is going the way of the dodo. To think that a network can expect people to tune into a show and follow it for 3 years, and then just up and cancel it without any sort of conclusion to the whole storyline, is why people don't tune in any more. Who wants to spend three seasons putting up with long breaks between episodes, long breaks between seasons, and 20 minutes of commercials during each episode, only to get slapped in the face with the inevitable news that it's getting cancelled without any kind of ending...?

Haven't started watching season 3 yet, was waiting to see if this would happen. Not going to waste my time watching, will free up some DVR space. Typical networks, only will be left with reality, singing, dancing, home videos, and game shows.

Maybe someone will pony up some money so that we can get a proper ending here, say a 3 night miniseries, fairly certain you could get some good ratings is you promised a proper close out

“…don’t care that Manifest ended without a suitable conclusion. Can’t wait for Mrs. Maisel return!

Good show, but I feel the networks should invest more on miniseries for this reason because it really sucks when you don’t get an ending
