The drama will return to Paramount+ in 2022.
July 8, 2021
Paramount+ announced today that Evil has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes three episodes into the drama's sophomore run at its new streaming home.
The series originated on CBS in 2019, earning a quick renewal just a month after its premiere. But after its freshman outing proved to be a tough ratings draw on network TV, CBS saw more potential for the show on its streaming service. Season 1 was a fairly strong performer digitally compared to its linear run, garnering healthy numbers on both CBS All Access and Netflix.
From Robert and Michelle King, who created 'The Good Wife' and 'The Good Fight', Evil stars Mike Colter and Katja Herbers as a priest-in-training and a skeptical clinical psychologist who investigate unexplained phenomena such as demonic possession, miracles, and supernatural occurrences, as they try to determine if there is a scientific explanation behind it.
Look for Season 3 of Evil in 2022.

@SATAN: You must really be proud to show your retardation for all the world to see. You make Manny look like he has a room temperature IQ. What an accomplishment!

@Manny: No one gives a Tinker's Cuss what you think, if even your drivel is a product of some feeble attempt at so doing. I worked many years and am now comfortably retired. My income in a month is more than you make in a year. I will watch whatever I want, whether you approve or not. I will use Cable, stream, or whatever whether you like it or not. You probably love your Big Dick Wolf left wing garbage. Get back into your playpen and self-fornicate.

I'm Just saying that there are those who take advantage, some can work but "choose" not to because of the benefits. Pointing that out just makes me look like an "arse". If that makes you angry because I mention that people are lazy because they "choose" to be, makes me think you are one of the lazies. They don't want to make money...They want to take money!
(Not talking about the ones who can't work, I'm talking about the ones who can work but "don't wanna")

All this arguing...Over Streaming?
On to the point. So great this is getting a 3rd season. Haven't started the 2nd season yet, I wait until the full season is on until I watch instead of waiting week after week.

The one thing that streaming has is, it can do whatever they want with the characters and not follow the rules to censored as for most on tv channels. I know we are paying the price the commercials normaly cover, but hey I got to see Lucifers butt lol on netflix. Anyway I rather put my money there then on cable but I know alot would rather have cable and not uncensored material for there kids:)

@ Manny: Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, Act II, Scene II:
"What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how
infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and
admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like
a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals."
Be can be certain he wasn't talking about your sorry arse.
