The drama will return to Paramount+ in 2022.

Paramount+ announced today that Evil has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes three episodes into the drama's sophomore run at its new streaming home.
The series originated on CBS in 2019, earning a quick renewal just a month after its premiere. But after its freshman outing proved to be a tough ratings draw on network TV, CBS saw more potential for the show on its streaming service. Season 1 was a fairly strong performer digitally compared to its linear run, garnering healthy numbers on both CBS All Access and Netflix.
From Robert and Michelle King, who created 'The Good Wife' and 'The Good Fight', Evil stars Mike Colter and Katja Herbers as a priest-in-training and a skeptical clinical psychologist who investigate unexplained phenomena such as demonic possession, miracles, and supernatural occurrences, as they try to determine if there is a scientific explanation behind it.
Look for Season 3 of Evil in 2022.

thank you, I completely agree with you! the only reason tv stations move shows to their new network is because they know die hard fans will spend more just to watch that one show.
Hell in my own personal experience I have had several premium tv channels and watched pretty much none of them because the shows were all on the same channel or mix matched different movies with different networks. Like take HBO for example, if you have HBO max you get regular HBO as well instead of paying for both HBO and HBO max at the same time. so I agree with you!!
Wow, thank you for lumping me with this category. I pay for DirecTv, Hulu, Netflix and Internet. I draw the line there. I already pay for OTA Broadcast.
If the show is good enough for Paramount+, then the only reason they are moving to streaming is that they want people to buy their service rather than watching it on DirecTv / Broadcast OTA / Dish / Etc. That's my hypothesis anyway. You have a better one?
Yeah, that $3200 Stimulus over the last 16 months REALLY makes me "lazy" and "dependent". I didn't ask for it. Uncle Sam MAILED IT to me. All of it went to charities - Food banks, if you must know. I probably spent $200 or more on PPE for myself and my family, friends, and neighbors.

Everyone else: Happy Viewing! :-)
