The procedural drama is officially coming back to TV.

Paramount+ today gave an official series order to a new version of Criminal Minds. The news comes nearly a year-and-a-half after the streaming service announced that a revival of the procedural drama was in the works.
The original series aired between 2005 and 2020 on CBS and was a consistently-solid performer in the network's prime time lineup. Its impressive run reached a total of 324 episodes by the end of its 15-year run.
The format of the new Criminal Minds will be a bit different, with a single case being investigated over the course of its 10-episode run rather than a case being solved during each episode. Longtime showrunner Erica Messer will be returning for the revival, as well as six key cast members including Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler, and Paget Brewster.

Great news, this used to be our favorite CBS crime drama, we’re looking forward to the single case aspect, and no limitations being on P+.

I really liked the original cast, way back, the first 6 seasons or so. Hopefully this will be good too.

Don’t know how I feel about waiting a season for us to find out who’s who but I’ll give it a shot I did love this show but I think for me it’s because they traveled all over to solve cases
