@Sunshine Girl - I give you that America barely exists anymore, but you'll have to be more than bilingual Spanish to understand future TV. Should the economy survive the influx of legal illegals, eventually, America will speak a shared language again, Chinese. With no subtitles. As you wish, Sunshine Girl.

What a narrow-minded little world you reside in, "Dave."
What is it like there?
Stat out of Florida.
I mean it.

Watching now on Netflix. Great series except for the occasional Spanish dialogue with no English translation. If that continues, I'll stop watching. Hate that part.

The key point immediately obvious to me for the show is that Dexter is not a sociopath. He is simply damaged by his past, which can be overcome. I've yet to see the end; and I hope the writers and creators remember that. There's no need to end the show on a severely dark note. I hope I'm not disappointed. I appreciate everyone here voicing their opinion, and not letting out any spoilers. One way or the other, Dexter could not go on killing; it's just not in him *if* like normal people, he is able to overcome his affliction, even if the public as a whole cannot. Mankind has some growing up to do even still.

I thought the ending was good. A bleak kick in the guts.
Appropriate for this dark series.

While I hated the ending, I think they were wise to call it quits when they did. The last two seasons weren't up to the standards of the previous seasons. I predict at least one Dexter feature film some time in the future - possibly more.
