A drama following a multi-generational family of New York City cops.
Frank Reagan is the Police Commissioner of New York and head of the Reagan clan. He tries to run his department in the same diplomatic manner he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his father during his stint as Chief.
Frank's eldest son Danny is a seasoned detective and family man who, at times, uses dubious tactics to investigate his cases. The sole female in the family is Erin, an Assistant District Attorney and newly single mother, who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father.

We rarely watch t.v. -- there's so much garbage that passes for entertainment,but BLUE BLOODS is an excellent show. There is a plausable story line and the family interaction between all of the Reagans is amazing. We try to make it to the t.v. on Fri. nights -- We hope it sticks around for a good while!

I tell everyone I know to watch this show. It is the best show on TV currently. To cancel it at anytime until and IF it runs its course and has nothing more to offer would be comparable to shooting your own foot!
In my opinion this show rates high among the best programs EVER on TV!!

PLEASE, DO NOT CANCEL BLUE BLOODS. THE ESSENCE OF THE SHOW IS FAMILY, YES INDEED FIXED WITH TRAGEDY BUT WHOLESOME, REALISTIC OF A POLICEMANS LIFE. THE ACTING OF ALL IS SUPERB.

Blue Bloods is a great family show. We all miss Danny's old partner, she was so good with Danny a real great team.

I've 'discovered' "Blue Bloods" in the past 4 months and find it a very appealing show. The cast has been well chosen; the variety of issues is good; the family dynamic and variety of characters, from kids to 'gramps' is terrific. In hearing that it may be cancelled, I want to say NO NO NO.................keep a show where there is a range of emotions, relationships, good writing and good acting! thank you, Glenda Miller.

Blue Bloods messed up when they got rid of Danny's Partner Jackie.. She was the Best and the chemistry was natural. I do not like watching it now without her. The last blond partner they had with Danny was horrible..Now they have this war Vet..Who cares !! They need to bring JACKIE back!!!! Period!!!

An excellent show, ticks all the right boxes - good story lines, well acted and a tv show that promotes family and christian values. It is hugely popular and deserves to contine.
