A drama following a multi-generational family of New York City cops.
Frank Reagan is the Police Commissioner of New York and head of the Reagan clan. He tries to run his department in the same diplomatic manner he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his father during his stint as Chief.
Frank's eldest son Danny is a seasoned detective and family man who, at times, uses dubious tactics to investigate his cases. The sole female in the family is Erin, an Assistant District Attorney and newly single mother, who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father.

LOVE Blue Bloods!Wonderful plots.Shows some research. As well as having the decency to show it at 10pm, here on the west coast.
Really would like to see Criminal Minds, Stalker, etc.cancelled or shown after 10pm when fewer children are up to watch them!

How can you even think of cancelling this wonderful family oriented show? There are lots of mindless sex-driven, partly clothed (or nude) shows for those who want them. I hope Blue Bloods will be picked up by a forward, mature station.

I love this show, plase do not cancel, it is so refreshing compared to the other junk that I turn off, in agreeing with others it has family values, which we seem to be loosing and very good acting..

Please do not cancel Blue Bloods for other tv shows,it has great dynamics and also the family get togethers,shows true family values!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So please put Blue Bloods back on .Thank You & God Bless

I'm usually into shows like Dexter, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy etc. However, I love Blue Bloods. It just goes to show you can do a popular TV series without tons of violence and the glorifying of drugs etc. The family morals are nice too see. I think it sends out really good message to families watching the programme. Keep up the good work I say.

Glad that Blue Bloods will be on CBS for Season #5 (and in reruns on ION)! Have an idea for a show--New detective Jamison Reagan & older partner Olivia Bendaughter investigate a traffic accident in Manhattan involving a P.I. from Hawaii & a small town police chief from Massachusetts!
