A drama following a multi-generational family of New York City cops.
Frank Reagan is the Police Commissioner of New York and head of the Reagan clan. He tries to run his department in the same diplomatic manner he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his father during his stint as Chief.
Frank's eldest son Danny is a seasoned detective and family man who, at times, uses dubious tactics to investigate his cases. The sole female in the family is Erin, an Assistant District Attorney and newly single mother, who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father.

I really don't care if they cancel Blue Bloods or not. 95% of the series centers around Danny so for get the rest of the family and whats going on in their lives. I am going to stop watching Blood Blues as of this week

best show on Tv keep it going, Tom select and Donnie Wahlberg along with the rest of the cast are great. a decent show for all the family.

I remember the days of Magnum P.I. and it is amazing that Tom Selleck s hair has remained so dark and beautiful considering he is in his 70th year - go Tom

Name a better show that a family can pick up good values with out coming on strong. I guess Blue bloods didn't have skin and sex to keep the ratings to stay.
