A medical drama following staff and patients at Hope-Zion Hospital.
Charlie Harris, the charismatic Chief of Surgery at Hope-Zion Hospital, has ended up in a coma and consequently left the facility in chaos. His fiancee and fellow doctor, Alex, must work with star surgeon Joel to save the chief's life.
As Alex and her fellow doctors work tirelessly to save Harris' life, the comatose chief explores the halls of the hospital in spirit form, unsure of whether he is a ghost or just imagining things.

What do you mean pushing the gay agenda? You obviously do not watch the show. The storyline revolves around the male doctor in the coma, his fiancee, and his ex wife. You must be referring to another show.

What a great show with good acting, the thing that is killing the show is its pushing the gay agenda. I hope they clean it up.

Why would the premise need to change? Talented writers might even allow the comotose doctor to later have no recollection of the incident. This would free other patients to endure the experience. The possibilities are endless. Many people have read about the cat who enters the bed to console a patient near death. I originally watched it for what I thought would be the last time. Instead, I became addicted to the show and it's creative aspects. I so hope that someone
will step up and truly save "Saving Hope."

Unless he could still see the dead people...

I started watching this show on HuluPlus only because of Erica Durance – I am a huge Smallville fan - it took watching all of the first 3 episodes before I could say that I liked it – and yes I do like it now – this is an NBC show, I just hope it doesn’t get cancelled

At least the other medical drama shows were fast moving and kept you wanting to watch. This show is slow and no signs of any recovery. When are you taking it off the air?

I was hoping this show was going to be good. I'm a fan of Michael Shanks, have been ever since he was on Stargate SG1. While this show isn't "horrible" it's incredibly slow, some of the character interactions are predictable but yet still somehow lacking chemistry and the plot to keep Michael Shanks character in this never ending coma is only going to aid in getting this show cancelled sooner rather than later. I don't see this show getting a second season and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get yanked off the air completely. The only thing that might save it is him waking up, but then the premise of the show would completely change I guess.
