This COULD be a truly great show IF the director would stop insisting that all the actors have membership in the FTA (Fast Talkers of America). I realize that he/she is attempting to add a sense of importance and urgency with this technique, but not everything is that important or urgent ALL the time. It's much more important that the dialogue actually be understood.

Whoa! Shondra has done it again! First Grey's Anatomy, then Private Practice and NOW SCANDAL, the BEST of the BEST!
I was waiting on pins and needles to hear of the pick-up or cancellation and thank goodness, they picked it up!
This show has the theme of "behind-the-scene fixer" in Washington, D.C. and THAT is my favorite locale and favorite subject matter.
