A legal drama following a defense lawyer with a chaotic life.
Keegan Deane is a criminal defense lawyer whose life is a bit of a mess. His ex-wife thinks he's unreliable, judges call him an outrage, the IRS knows him as a defendant, and his colleagues think he can be a general pain in the ass.
On the bright side, he is also brilliant, charming, and possesses a lack of discretion that helps him land cases nobody else wants.

Ah, come on FOX ... Rake is remarkable! Please ... renew, relocate (permanently to Fridays), and then rejoice in having a real winner in your lineup. Don't mistake poor time slot placement for poor context or poor concept. This gem will shine if you allow just a bit more exposure in the limelight. Please reconsider!

RAKE! Edgy, funny, yet plenty of drama. Well acted, well scripted. Please reconsider discontinuing RAKE. We will miss this show.

So tired of good quality shows being cancelled just when your in the "can't miss an episode" mode. Greg K. is great and the stories were quality as well as the supporting cast. This is so ridiculous, I may just start buying more books and saying good bye to TV. Happens way too often these days.

No surprise that Fox chooses to put on bargain-rates unscripted crap and save money by telling more discerning viewers to take a hike in cancelling well-scripted quality product.
