Great show, hope it's on for a long while. Sick of the reality crap for the brain dead making all the ratings...

This show is great, I really hope the second season is well thought out as the first one.

like the characters, esp. adam baldwin, but story/writing lacking. captain leaves ship to find family? a guy with a gun takes over the ship? would never happen in the Navy I was part of.

So I keep waiting to hear it has been renewed. Not fair to cast and crew to keep them waiting. Their has been enough time gone by for them to announce what is happening. MKL

I found this show kinda interesting. Have been waiting for this show to really take off but it hasn't done it yet. I do find it hard to believe that the two highest ranking officers of the ship would always be on dangerous rescue missions. I DO hope that during this time off they can come up with a good enough plot to release another season.

Too bad the writers know nothing about navy ships or the hardware on them. So predictable that even I could write this stuff. Give us a brake that take this off.

Love , love , love this show. Love that the good guys are the military, and that they are clearly good. Love that the bad guys are bad and tend to lose in the end. We need shows that have the good guys winning in this day and age. I hope they don't delve away from the basic premise of the show. Please - more of this!

Really? That was the way they ended this season? I admit I liked the show, our ship and crew always seem to conquer whatever far fetched obstacles the writers put them through. Left you in a feel good mood, rooting for the great USA and our Navy that would save the world. Loved the cast, esp. Adam Baldwin. Did have a problem with the captain going out himself on dangerous missions. Can't believe this would happen in real life. Kind of frustrating for it to happen over and over. But, they made it back to America with the cure and I was looking forward to a good ending for this year. What we got was a black, female Hitler, exterminating the sick, poor and underprivileged citizens, complete with trucks rumbling down the highway carrying stacked corpses to the crematorium (power plant) to burn for . . . fuel?!? This is wrong for so many reasons, I don't know where to start. The slap in the face to good, intelligient black women, or to incorporate one of the most horrific tragedies of our times into such an unbelievable plot just for the sake of ratings? Really?!? I sat in stunned disbelief when last episode was over, not understanding why the creators would destroy what had been a relatively good show. I know I for one will not be back next year to watch this mixed up mess. Maybe I'll just wander down to the library and check out some good books. Sure isn't anything worth watching on TV anymore!

Well, I'm hooked. This series is a hit. Sure it's a bit cliche, but that is it's strength and it's easy to follow. This series could cruise for many more seasons.
