An action drama following the well-known DC Comics character.
Kara Zor-El was born on the planet Krypton and escaped its destruction years ago with her cousin, Clark Kent. On Earth she was taken in by the Danvers family, and she was careful to hide her powers from the world.
Now 24 years old, Kara must learn to embrace her superhuman abilities to be the hero she was always destined to be.

I really liked the concept of this DC comic series at first. But it's PC inserts, detracts from the intensity that this series needs. Also the lack of incorporating Superman speriodially instead of having him as someone uninvolved with his relative. Jimmy Olsen is completely miscast and shouldn't in any way be a love interest for Kara. However, Super girl is cast perfectly. I would think they should bring this series into sync with what viewers would expect rather than the writers are spinning it to be. Maybe it's already spun itself beyond the point of repair. Too bad, I really was expecting better. I also liked Flockharts character. She made that character work.

I love this show. Puts a great spin on the same old superhero genre. Cat is hilarious and the bonds between the characters are interwoven with good writing and intensity. You haters should get less jaded when it comes to canon. IT doesn't take itself too serious GET IT! haha
