May 18, 2011
CBS released its lineup for the 2011-2012 season today, confirming that New York cop drama Blue Bloods has been renewed for a second season.
The Tom Selleck series was a solid performer for the network on Friday nights, where it aired 22 episodes. When it returns in the Fall, Blue Bloods will keep its same night and time slot - 10:00pm after CSI: NY.

My FAVORITE show is BLUE BLOODS!!! There was a rumor that BLUE BLOODS was cancelled. I agree with everything in Sandy Rhineberger's comments. BLUE BLOODS expresses good, intelligent writing, excellent acting, and is a reminder that everything isn't dismal and hopeless in the United States if such a show can stay on the air!!!!

Blue Bloods is the greatest show on TV. My husband and I live in Palm Springs, Ca. and record it every week. Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg are fabulous! All the cast members are perfect. My neice, Stacey and her husband, Chris who live in North Carolina are addicted to this show. Chris is a former DEA Agent and they look forward to seeing this show every week. We would all be devastated if Blue Bloods was cancelled. I have promoted this show from one end of the US to the other. I tell everyone to watch Blue Bloods. It is the best! Blue Bloods should win all the awards this year. Please keep it renewed.
