The hit reality series gets another two seasons.
August 10, 2016
As it did in 2014, CBS announced today that Big Brother has been renewed for another two seasons - its 19th and 20th. The popular reality show continues to dominate the summer, consistently winning its time slots and having all three of its weekly episodes rank in the top 5 programs among adults 18-34.
Today's news comes one week after the first-ever digital edition of Big Brother was announced exclusively for CBS All Access, the network's streaming video-on-demand service. That version of the show will act as an extension of the brand, with a shorter run in the fall and tweaks to its format, rather than an official season.
Julie Chen will be staying on as host of Big Brother, for both the digital edition and Seasons 19 and 20. Look for Season 19 next summer, with Season 20 airing in the summer of 2018.

I can't wait for the new season of Big Brother. Have been watching all the way back to season 1! Bring on the new house guest. Would like to see no past players. I'd like to see teams, Parent/Child, atheist/Minister, Trump/Clinton supporter, any opposites. I believe these conflicting contrasting of players would bring great excitement to the viewers. I know it would for me.

All these people claiming how stupid or fake this show is have plainly never watched it. If you don't watch it, please don't comment on it.

WHY????????????? This show is soooooo stupid! This is the drivel that keeps getting picked up and good shows that are actually thought provoking get the axe! Demo 18-34 should be ashamed of yourselves, for real! I thought this demo were the ones who were streaming stuff more than watching live TV? GO AWAY PLEASE!

Glad Big Brother is renewed for Seasons 19 & 20, plus digital edition. Hope couple houseguests from this season like Natalie and Paul, plus couple others from past few seasons, return for Season 19 to mentor the new houseguests w/o competing but just coaching w/ at least one or two at the jury later in the season.

yeah... is there ANYONE that thinks most tv shows are real.. or any of them? Even news programs fabricate, embellish, and twist things. "Reality TV" is a label not a law or regulation.

When will viewers realize this show is fake along with Survivor, Amazing Race, DWTS, Shark Tank. These shows are not real.

I would much rather see Julie Chen get Zonked on "Celebrity 'Let's Make a Deal'" if and when that show debuts. Even a revival of "Press Your Luck" would be a better choice for me than "Big Brother".
