The veteran reality series will continue in the summer of 2021.
October 28, 2020
CBS announced today that Big Brother has been picked up for a 23rd season. The good news comes just hours before the long-running reality show's current all-star season 2-hour finale, which will see a new winner crowned.
On the air for two decades, the veteran series continues to be one of TV's top-rated reality shows. Airing three nights a week, each of its episodes consistently draw solid viewership against its prime time competition.
In each season of Big Brother, a group of people move into a house together under the watchful eye of dozens of cameras that record their every move 24 hours a day. Each week one houseguest is voted out of the house until just one remains, receiving a $500,000 grand prize.
Look for Season 23 of Big Brother in the summer of 2021, with Julie Chen Moonves once again returning as host.

Cody deserved the win and if the others wanted to be pathetic and, as you say, LET him walk on them, then that was THEIR pathetic game choice.

No more all stars !!! They should have given Cody the boot weeks into the show. Sure he deserved it, but the rest of the cast laid down and let him walk all over him. Most boring season ever !!!!

@Z: Clearly you are engaging me, not knowing why, because you are not particularly bright. I told you that you prove my point about your low, and likely negative IQ, and yet you are determined to keep on so doing!
Frankly I don't give a Tinker's Cuss if you stalk me on the Internet since you have that desperate need to document your severe case of low intelligence. You make Biden look like a genius.
BTW I never said I hated the bozos who watch the snow; i simply commented on their lack of intellect. QED.

@Nudnik, To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm engaging you. I know I shouldn't. But it's kind of fun. Not that you will listen to anything I or anybody else has to say, but I think you should take an introspective look and ask yourself why you feel the need to insult people. I haven't done anything to provoke you except defend a show that I like and you don't. I don't think my watching of the show is as telling as your hatred of people that watch the show. I do hope you cheer up! I'll be sure to check in on you when you post something negative again soon.

@Z: You continue to prove my point. Your "banter" is intelligent? I wonder who is scripting YOUR remarks. You are merely a poor player, strutting and fretting your hour upon the stage, soon to be heard no more. The fact that this garbage show appeals to you speaks volumes. Doubtlessly you should speak a lot less, as you have nothing worthwhile to say. LOL, fool.

I don’t really care what anyone else says. I love this show. I have watched it since inception and sure there have been a few season which I didn’t pay full attention to. This was not one of them. It was an All Stars cast and watching the game play and strategizing amongst the cast was amazing. You can tell by who won this year that the cast didn’t hold any grudges and actually voted for the proper winner this season. LOVED IT

.. oh and Chen's new "political" sign off tag lines.. REALLY need to go. They are laughable. She really shouldn't be "preaching" at the audience. Proselytize somewhere else.

.. they REALLY need more interesting casts... hasn't been a really interesting cast in many, many, many seasons and the all stars were all "duds" and boring with the exception of Enzo. CBS really needs to loosen the casting restrictions a bit to get more "what will they do next" type of people with nothing to do for 3 months. As it is.. it's all privileged suburbanites with plenty of time and money ... which makes for boring TV.
