My husband and I have always enjoyed this show way beyond any other type reality show until Season 28 & 29 when they added couples who had been on other so called reality shows. I don't give a rat's you know what about those that were on Big Brother or other shows. If I did I would watch those shows. I like people who are closer to everyday people. Those who run a race like most of us would. Not those who scheme, play psych games, lie and then expect us to cheer when they win. If this continues we will be done watching!!

Lately it really feels like they are rushing through seasons to get them done. Maybe it's the "1 episode = 1 leg and only in 42minutes" thing, but I get the feeling with each episode that there's a WHOLE LOT that could be shown and isn't. They used to show some pit stop footage a before the legs began.. not any more. Seems maybe they ditched that to make room for travelocity advertisements. -- Anyway.. this should could actually push to hour-and-a-half episodes and still be great.

I hate when they put on reality TV/social media "celebrities," tried to add social media crap (do selfies all the time), and other gimmicky stuff. I just like the regular races with regular people...

I still really enjoy this series. I know it depends on the contestants but overall its one of the best in reality tv.

I'm kind of indifferent. It really depends on the couples each season. When that fails, it's the locations and local customs that have kept me watching. But we've been around the world 29 times now, there's not too many places left we haven't been before.
I would be interested in a "behind the scenes" episode, though. How do they scout out locations and tasks, move the crew one step ahead of the contestants, set up crews at each task location, what's life like for the filmer accompanying each couple, where do the contestants go between each leg and how much do they interact, etc.

I've watched every single season until this year. The blind date season was actually a few seasons ago when half of the groups were actual couples and half were set up. I could tolerate that one somewhat and it was interesting that the couples for the most part didn't make it to the end. The YouTubers and Vine/IGer season was one of my favorites. It had good ratings too. This season though, I just don't see the appeal. We watch to see how a mother and son can work out their differences and how two best friends from small town Alabama help each other out despite never having been out of state. Having a season of people who have never met changes the whole dynamic. I know they're trying to stay fresh but, do t try to fix what's not broken. The problem is the constant moving in the time slot, not the formula. I hope they get it right for Season 30.

The last two previous seasons were an eyesore to watch. This season with the racers not knowing each other is refreshing and something alittle different. People that typically might not work together could actually work together for the ultimate goal. I am a fan of the U-turns but they are using them a bit too much this season. Other than that, I look forward to watching more seasons.

AWESOME show!!! Best show on TV and I'm thrilled that they renewed for another year.
