The globetrotting competition will be back in 2020.

CBS announced today that The Amazing Race has been renewed for a 32nd season. The good news comes four episodes into Season 31, which features contestants from previous seasons of The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Survivor.
On the air since 2001, The Amazing Race is one of broadcast TV's longest-running reality entries. The competition series has garnered solid ratings and won numerous awards over the course of its run.
The show's momentum has slowed recently though, with CBS opting to only air one instalment per season in recent years rather than two. It will stay that way for Season 32, which is slated once again for the mid-season in 2019-2020.

This is great news! This "game show" (not "reality show") is a breath of fresh air on network TV. Although they continue to select eye candy, the diversity among the contestants (although a few more people of color would be appreciated) is as much fun as are the locations.

It's a bit tired after all these years, but still each season depends entirely on the cast. Some seasons are exciting. The current one is still to be decided.
