A reality competition where teams race each other around the world.
The Amazing Race is a multi-Emmy Award winning reality series where teams of two race around the world with the goal of winning the grand prize of $1,000,000.
Along the way, teams must perform various tasks known as "Roadblocks" or "Detours" that usually integrate the culture of the country where the task is taking place.
In many cases each team has a unique relationship that is focused on as the race progresses. At the end of each episode, or leg, of the race, the team in last place is usually eliminated. The exception being if that particular leg has been predetermined as a non-elimination leg.

Best "reality" show of all time. But it is past due for a hiatus and then bring it back several years from now.

This show has become a parody of itself. There are only three or four countries they can go to because Obama's failed foreign policy has turned most of the world into a war torn wasteland.

I'm glad they finally brought it back, but I do not like that they moved it to Thursday night at 10pm. So many people I know say that they won't be watching it this time around because of the 10pm time slot. I wouldn't either if not for OnDemand.
