NBC announced today that Chicago P.D. has been picked up for a 14th season. The spin-off series continues to be a strong performer in the network's primetime lineup along with its two franchise mates.
On the air since 2014, Chicago P.D. is the network's fourth longest-running drama currently on the air. The first spin-off of the hit 'Chicago' franchise, the show involves stories of the uniformed police patrol and intelligence unit that pursues the perpetrators of the Windy City's major street offenses. It surpassed the 250-episode mark late last year.
NBC renewed the entire 'One Chicago' lineup today, ensuring all three shows in the franchise - Med, Fire and P.D. - will be returning for the 2026-2027 television season this fall.
