Fascinated with cutting edge scientific advancements, Barry discovers a particle accelerator created by S.T.A.R. Labs. During its public unveiling, a devastating explosion causes a freak storm that strikes Barry with a bolt of lightning. After months of being in a coma, Barry awakens to discover he has the ability of super speed, giving him unprecedented power.
Unfortunately Barry is not the only one affected by the explosion. Others now have new powers as well, and they're not using them for good. With unexplained deaths plaguing the city, Barry must become The Flash and use his gift of speed to protect its innocent citizens.

I loved the first episode, and Wells; so mysterious. He and Barry always make me come back for more. I really hope this does not get cancelled. It has so much potential, and a lot of TV networks cancel shows after the first season, and or first episode; not giving them a single chance.
