The first book in the series, leviathan wakes, is also very complicated and sometimes hard to follow when it comes to characters and multiple story lines..hang in, it gets awesome.

Granted, this show is well produced and there is definitely "something" about it. But the pace is slow and plot is too hidden from the naked eye. Even the characters are difficult to "latch" onto. The writers are trying to tell their story but they don't get to the point in time. It's attention span is short and trying to get into this show is something that has to be done over the course of several episodes. A show which I believe will eventually get cancelled. Sci-Fi are holding on bated breath that season 2 will bring in a greater audience. That all depends on the creators and what they decide to do.

There is quite a few things going on in this show and how these people and events will intersect together later on will be very, very interesting. Great intelligent writing and plots. They also found excellent actors for this show. If you like SCI-FI, you'll love this show.

So far, so good. I like this one.

Let's just hope it doesn't fall into the typical Syfy stink that most Syfy shows fall into (Warehouse 57, Haven, etc., etc.) They all have the same "vibe" that rubs me the wrong way.

Yes some more Space SCI-FI on the air. Hope it is a well written show like Dark Matter. Looks like it could go a lot of ways.
