CBS announced today that long-running series NCIS has been renewed for a twelfth season. The network's flagship drama continues to be a ratings winner, ranking as TV's #1 scripted drama for five years in a row.
No premiere date has been announced for Season 12, but a return in September 2014 is likely.
UPDATE: Season 12 of NCIS will premiere on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 8:00pm.

They took off denoso now abby the show sucks with new people.cant fix whats broken..never watch again just old reruns.

Hope it is true that NCIS will be renewed. Also hope they do bring Zeva back, it was a family with her there, the new one not so much. Also love NCIS LA & am hoping that NCIS New Orleans can live up to the name. In fact the ONLY TV I watch is Tuesday nights for the NCIS programs.

I have loved this program since it started, but when Ziva left the program and the new female started it went down hill. I now watch maybe every once in a while, but luv re-runs better - there is no chemistry between the new female and the other actors. So SAD!

LOVE,LOVE THIS SHOW. I WOULD BE HEART BROKEN IF YOU DO. WISH ZIVA WOULD COME BACK & NEED TO SEE MORE OF LEON AND HIS FAMILY , AFTER JACKIE'S DEATH. PLEASE DON'T CANCEL.

CBS Needs to keep NCIS with Gibbs going, the other spin-offs are not a patch on this one, I can take or leave the others but NCIS I never miss.
