NBC announced today that Law & Order: SVU has been renewed for a 19th season to air in 2017-2018. The police procedural continues its near two-decade run, which dates back to 1999. Currently television's longest-running on-air drama, the series continues to be a consistent, solid performer for the network.

You all are dumbasses. This show is great. Obviously the writing and storylines are to advanced for your minuscule minds. Glad it was renewed.

I literally stopped watching when Chris Meloni left, but tv networks keep repeating old episodes.
I am amazed it got renewed, the present show is just booring. the episodes are flat, the cast are not enjoyable.
They just keep making it so they can get it up 20 seasons, there are better detectives shows I can watch than this, It need to be cancelled next year, I don't miss not watching it.

Thank you for renewing another Law & Order season to further solidify my determination to never ever watch Law & Order.

.. because they can just rework scripts form 15 years ago and viewers will be too dumb to figure that out....
